After finishing his education at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Bruce Broomell returned to Valley Center anxious to expand the strictly citrus farming ranch. He decided that hay would be an excellent crop to add variety to the farm. For the next 25 years, hay farming was Bruce's main responsibility and passion within the business. In 2004, Triple B Ranches purchased 400 acres in Northern California. Bruce moved there to oversee the hay production. We now grow hay in Valley Center and Macdoel.
